Goddess of Magic Necklace

The Goddess of Magic Necklace honors Aset, or Isis to the Greeks, the Goddess of Life and the Divine Feminine, Magic, Motherhood and Rebirth.

As the tale goes, Aset married her brother Osiris, but their happy union stirred jealously in their brother, Seth. In a vengeful plot, Seth convinced Osiris to lie in a coffin, which he nailed down and sent down the Nile. Aset’s true devotion to her husband sent her in search of him, she found him dead, but brought his body back for a proper burial.

When Seth found out, his rage grew, he found the coffin holding his brother and cut him into pieces, scattering him around Egypt to be unfound. Aset, driven by love, grew wings, and flew from place to place gathering her husbands remains. She made a deal with the sun god, Ra, to resurrect her husband. As her husband had already crossed the gates of death, he went on to rule the underworld, while Aset devoted her life to protecting their son Horus from Seth, and guarding over Osiris.

Aset was loved by all, she taught Egyptian woman many skills, and is said to be the most powerful goddess in ancient Egypt.
