Breathe in Inanna’s seven sacred temples, as her Priestess, Enheduanna, moves in ritual to honor the goddess of sexual love, fertility, war and justice. The ceremony halls fill with the scent of smoky, resinous oud, as the Priestess bathes in waters of jasmine, anointing herself in oil of vetiver. Intentionally, she approaches Inanna’s altar; with brilliance she lights the candle; in offering, she lays down her garden’s fragrant rose and slices of autumn’s first ripe orange. The heady, sensual scent of her sacred practice is blended for Inanna herself. As the candle flickers, passion and desire are ignited, the intuition is illuminated and the Divine Feminine comes to life.
